Remidi T8 – The Wearable Instrument

Remidi T8 – The Wearable Instrument Remidi has began a Kickstarter project with the goal of creating a fully wearable instrument. The T-8 is a pair of gloves with ultra sensitive sensors placed in 8 different spots around your hand, and two motion sensors placed on your wrist. By doing this you have the chance to program the 8 pads with sounds, and add effects to the motion sensors. The T-8 detects what to play based of what they call Air Modulation, which is pretty self explanatory. You are able to modulate your sound through air, by simply moving your hands with easy motion. The T-8 is also capable of switching between preset chosen scales which allows seamless transition from song to song. The only thing you need to play is a surface and some space.     The T-8 is currently available to those who back it on Kickstarter, so go …

Their latest release, the Ozone 7, is offered as standard or advanced version. Most of the upgrades you see on the advanced version are vintage emulators: vintage tape, vintage EQ, vintage compressor, and a codec preview; the Ozone 7 essentially has a load of throwback effects. Ozone 7 Standard, (also included in the Advanced version,) is geared with a vintage limiter, alternate export formats, and an upgraded maximizer.     One of the most notable features is the codec reviewer and the upgraded maximizer. You can preview within your DAW, so you can avoid endless exports and re-exports. You can make adjustments as to where your master …
