DLYM – Imaginado Releases FREE Delay Modulator Plugin Imaginado recently released a free plugin called DLYM, a Delay effect with an internal LFO (hence Modulator). Imaginado is known for its popular DRC synth it released last year and its class of iOS apps for controlling Ableton Live and Traktor. DLYM produces a chorus and flanger effect that is modeled from the DRC effects engine. As per usual with Imaginado’s plugins, DLYM has a clean and simple interface adhering to the flat design world, with a minimalistic approach in mind. The plugin has the following features: 2 processing modes – ‘Analog emulation’ and ‘Dimension style’. 6 time syncable modulation waveforms – Sine, Square, Saw, Triangle, Sample & Hold and Filtered Sample & Hold. LFO Tool Presets for Ableton Shaper To celebrate Ableton Live 10 release we’re giving away a free pack of presets for the new Shaper Max for Live devices included in Ableton Suite. The Shaper tool is a smart LFO that allows you to draw custom waveshapes to modulate anything. Simply click the map button and then hit any knob, fader or button you want in Ableton. You can even map it to plugins. This device reminded us the wonderful LFO Tool plugin from Xfer Records (makers of Serum). The first thing we did is recreated all the presets that are included with the LFO tool to use inside the Shaper. Tritik – Krush Bit Crusher (Free Download) Tritik Audio Plugins has recently released a free spring giveaway for their effective and straight forward bit crusher called Krush. Equipped with a filter and LFO display, the Krush allows you to grime up your sound quite a bit. Within the filter display you are given five different parameters: crush, drive, down sample, low and hi pass frequency, and resolution knobs. Each parameter is also applied under the LFO module which applies the Krush in waves, in either a synced tempo or free tempo. The plugin itself is pretty simple and straightforward, but effective with its capabilities. If you turn the crush all the way up, you get an interesting modular like clicking. You can also get an interesting result if you go crazy with your frequency parameters but keep your dry settings up, to get a grimy backing to your sound. The Krush …
