Titan Reality Pulse 3d – New Type of MIDI Controller

Titan Reality Pulse 3d – New Type of MIDI Controller   Titan Reality just released a midi controller that follows a design concept which will become much more familiar to producers in the coming years. Plugged as the first virtual reality midi controller the Pulse is able to detect hand symbols, gestures, pressure, different percussion, (brushes, mallets, drumsticks,) and a wide range of instruments that could be played on its grid mode.   The controller essentially allows you to manipulate, create, and control sounds in empty space. (Everything the theremin dreamt of being.) The project is being fully funded through Kickstarter, and you can grab your own for a little over a thousand dollars. Checkout the trial video below and the project site below that. Welcome to the future!   Titan Reality Webpage

Native Instrument’s Flesh- Music Making Machine

Native Instrument’s Flesh- Music Making Machine   If you talk to some old school musicians about electronic music one of their biggest complaints, (worries, criticisms, hesitations-whatever it is,) they have about the genre is in regards to live performance. A largely held stigma against the lack of improvisational techniques leads some to question the value of electronic music itself. (In my opinion, this is not a valid conclusion.) Though some electronic musicians have taken it upon themselves to advance the improvisational capability for artists across the spectrum of electronic music. Musician and inventor, Tim Exile the creator of The Finger and The Mouth, has developed a software called Flesh, through Native Instruments, that is capable of creating multidimensional songs through a single sample. The software essentially draws from, and expands, a single rhythmic sample into a multi dimensional including bass lines, riffs, melodies, pads and more.   The idea behind Flesh is …

Roli Seaboard-Future of Keyboards

Roli Seaboard-Future of Keyboards   MIDI Keyboards have been one of the most effective controllers a producer can wield in their arsenal of equipment, though regardless of the dozens of evolutions keyboards have encountered, they never strayed too far from the centuries old counterpart: the piano. The ROLI Seaboard takes a dramatic step in the realm of MIDI Keyboards towards greater musical expression and a large leap in musical inventiveness. The Seaboard aims to transform the traditional keyboard/piano, (characterized by single tone keys and fixed velocities,) into a unified expressional tool, using the power of five different parameter controls: Strike Press Slide Glide Lift The strike parameter is essentially a more advanced velocity control, measuring the force of contact you make with ‘key waves,’ while press is controlled by the pressure applied, maintained, or reduced after you have struck. Glide is a horizontal pitch control which you can influence by gliding through the …

Tokyo Dawn Labs TDR Nova – Free Multi-Function Equalizer

Tokyo Dawn Labs TDR Nova – Free Multi-Function Equalizer   Tokyo Dawn Labs has released a free parallel dynamic equalizer called the TDR Nova. Supposedly loosely based of the Nova-67P, (the bedroomproducersblog.com No. 1 freeware plugin pick,) the TDR packs as much of a punch with a cleaner interface. The Nova is capable of extremely precise refining and makes for powerful dynamic processing and is found with  preset manager, undo/redo, A/B, detailed documentation, copy & paste, which wasn’t found in previous TDR equalizers. The TDR is in the form of a user friendly drag and drop view which runs alongside knob controls which gives the user clean access to a wide range of parameters allowing for maximum processing control. The TDR Nova covers a range of capabilities from parametric equalization, dynamic equalization, frequency selective compression, to multi-band compression and wide band compression. A PDF manual is available for download for those who aren’t all that …

A fully loaded hybrid synth software that can produce highly professional sound and can take your sound design to the next level.
